RUJEC takes an integrated approach to the education of children. The Center's goal is to offer programs that promote all aspects of children's development and identity, enabling them to reach their fullest potential cognitively, emotionally and socially. We provide a wide variety of materials and experiences. The children are then given the time to explore and discover. This supports independent thinking, creativity, and problem-solving. Positive reinforcement is stressed with emphasis on self-direction and self-discipline.
The curriculum, which is designed and taught by a professionally trained staff, meets the developmental needs of each individual child. Jewish values are reflected in everything we teach. The children experience the richness of Jewish tradition as they sing Hebrew songs, learn the many blessings, hear Torah stories, celebrate Shabbat and holidays and learn how to be good citizens of our world.
The Rosie Uran Jewish Education Center (RUJEC) Preschool
To meet the educational needs of all children ages 2-5, Congregation Sha'are Shalom offers an enriching experience at the Rosie Uran Jewish Education Center (RUJEC). It is our belief that education is the foundation of a child's life, and that a Jewish preschool education should be the cornerstone for Jewish children. Our program offers children a quality early childhood education in a stimulating, nurturing and secure environment.
Enrollment for 2024-2025 is ongoing. For more information, please download our full brochure above. We invite you to call today and make an appointment to visit.
